nice quiet little pub, probably suffers from its closeness to chain pubs, but that only serves to make it better. Has a changing selection or real ale and generally I like it in here. The only problem I've had was once I bought a pint of Mighty Oak - English Oak and found its flavour particuarly bad, not having tried it before I asked if maybe it was off or something and was told patronisingly by the man in charge that it was "supposed to taste like that, its real ale" like I was some kind of ignorant lagerboy. I did finish the pint and sort of got accustomed to the taste, which admittedly the more I drank of it didn't taste off, just bad.
