Doctor Duncan'sopposite St Georges Hall, near Marriott10/01/2007several ale pumps? + usual snacksCains Brewery pub, from what I could tell it only stocked Cains beers but Cains do a few good ales so the selections okFine Raisin Beer, Cains Lager3.9
Thomas Rigby'sDale Street11/01/20078 hand pumps. lots of bottles + imported beers on tapYes good food + usual snacksOkells Brewery Pub, has a beer menu on all the tables which lists some of the many imported bottled and draught beers they sell along with a description, and they even recommend a good beer to compliment your meal if you're ordering food; they also have a couple of guest ales (Cains, Ossett) on top of their Okells ales. Nice atmosphere, had a smoking room and a public parlour. Imported beers included lots of stuff from Germany, Belguim(Liefman's on tap), Czech(Budweiser Budvar on tap) and the USA (Sierra Nevada)Osset Silver King, Okells Pure Brewed Bitter, Liefman's Framboise4.5
White Star'Cavern quarter'11/01/20074 ale pumps? + usual snackshas a couple of ales, all from less well known brewers, which was good to see. fairly small old fashoned pub, not the nicest place I've been though. Like everywhere in Liverpool it plays up it's connection to some over-rated 60s band.Bowland: White Star3.8
