Spending the whole day sitting on the Rose and Crown benches by the river during the summer is a must for any Essex student. Once we spent the day here and when the pub shut drove into Colchester(not me, notorious drunk driver Andy C.), we got a curry then came back to eat it on the benches outside the pub, one of those benches has also ended up in my living room one drunken New Years Eve (2003/4 I think).
