Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31st of May 2003 at the Colchester Arts Centre. The 18th Colchester CAMRA festival and my 1st. I don't know what brought me here as I wasn't a beer drinker, perhaps I came for the cider, they were certainly the main things I drank whilst I was there, in fact I tried all the Ciders that they had. I lost my programme at some point during the festival but I got myself another one. There was a Scottish bar set up at one side of the church next to the Cider and Perry stand, the one ale I did try was Broughton's Old Jock which I really liked.
I didn't use a rating system I just marked each drink I tried with a scribble next to it and put a star next to the ones I liked.
