the 19th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival (my 2nd), Tuesday 1st to Saturday 5th June 2004. Once again held at Colchester Arts Centre so more drinking beer in an old church and sitting on gravestones in the sun. I think I spent 2 days here this year, I'd discovered my love of beer by this festival so one day I drank ciders and perrys and on the other I drank the beers. This is the festival where I started using a 0-10 scale to rate the drinks I tried, however that does not imply that there is consistency in the ratings from then on.
