Most big brewers brew Bitters instead of Milds these days so this was is a refreshing variation on the norm. A dark red, flavourless beer served cold. Vastly more drinkable than its Bitter competition (I'm thinking things like John Smith's, Boddingtons, and Worthington's Creamflow.)
